You may need book-keeping skills to help you run your own business or a club, to improve your job prospects or to stay on top of your accounts at home.
NEC offers two book-keeping courses in partnership with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), an established provider of book-keeping qualifications. ICB qualifications are developed with employers, government, small business owners and experienced book-keepers.
Many students chose book-keeping because they want to set up their own business as a book-keeper. Whether you are looking for a basic course to introduce you to book-keeping theories and methods or a more advanced course giving you higher level techniques and skills, we have the right course for you.
Studying book-keeping with NEC
With NEC’s flexible book-keeping courses, you study at a time and pace to suit you. When you become an NEC student, you’ll be supported by a one-to-one tutor as you work your way through the course and prepare for the exams. You’ll also be able to call on the expertise of our dedicated student support team, by email or on the phone.
Your progress will be assessed by exams, which NEC will arrange for you with the ICB when you are ready to take them. There are no set exam times and exams are completed online.
