Following the recent government announcement regarding coronavirus, we wanted to take this opportunity to update you on the steps that NEC is taking to support colleagues and students at this time.
It goes without saying that the Coronavirus is unprecedented and a real concern for many. Therefore NEC has taken the necessary precautions for the welfare and safety of our students and staff.
Students studying online with NEC will experience virtually no disruption, some communications may be reduced, but we will endeavour to continue supporting our students and remain open for new enrolments. We would encourage current students to email the relevant team rather than telephone at this time. For enrolments, please enrol online where possible, however the Course Advice Team will be available to take your calls during normal office hours.
We expect the disruption to NEC services to be minimal but we appreciate your understanding as the situation develops.

Price reduction (offer ends 31st May 2020)
The National Extension College was set up in 1963 to help widen participation in education and we understand the important contribution we can make during this unprecedented situation. A distance learning course can feed your mind and give you valuable qualifications without interruption, wherever you live and whatever your circumstances are. Education can give us all hope for the future.
In light of this, we are temporarily reducing the prices on our A level and GCSE courses*.
We encourage you to enrol online where possible applying the voucher codes outlined above. However, if you are looking to enrol on multiple courses, please email or speak to our Course Advice Team for information on our multi-buy discounts.
No matter your age or what time of day you want to study, our courses will help you further your education and maintain your mental wellbeing.
For more information, read the full terms and condition here.
