Distance Learning AS Levels FAQS
AS levels are important stepping stones to A level qualifications as they enable you to start exploring a subject in depth before committing to a full A level. They’re also useful if you’re applying for university and need to top up your UCAS points. Or it could be that you simply want to study a subject that you enjoy, within a formal framework.
AS levels are academic courses which involve you in intensive independent reading, thinking and essay writing. It’s important to choose subjects that you enjoy and are interested in, as students who choose subjects they enjoy tend to get the most out of their study experience.
